He further cited Shia teachings, referencing Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, who stated that intoxicants are the root of many evils as they impair intellect (Aql) and lead individuals toward sin (Al-Kafi, Vol. 6).
In his address, he also reflected on the legacy of Imam Hussain (AS), highlighting the unparalleled sacrifice made at Karbala. He spoke about how Imam Hussain (AS) stood against oppression, sacrificing not only himself but also his family for the preservation of truth and justice. Drawing parallels to present-day struggles, he stated that the spirit of Karbala continues to inspire resistance against injustice, including the resilience being witnessed in Iran today.
Molvi Imran Ansari thanked the mourners for organizing and attending such a large Majlis-e-Aza, stating that their presence, discipline, and arrangements of nazr-o-niyaz reflected true devotion to Imam Hussain (AS) and the message of Karbala.
