Implicating political, religious leaders in frivolous cases won't bring peace to Kashmir: Hakeem Yaseen

Srinagar, Mar 10 (KNS): Chairman People's Democratic Front and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Sunday said that implicating political and religious leaders in frivolous cases and banning political parties just for wining elections won't bring normalcy to Kashmir.
Daring central government to put in public domain the critical evidences against all political and religious leaders put on trial in frivolous cases Hakeem asked the central government to explain why cases have been registered against political and religious leaders of Kashmir now and not any time in last several decades.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also asked the government to explain that if Jamat-e-Islami was banned three times in the past and the teachers of their schools were inducted into government service then why the government is banning Jamat-e-Islami and talking about taking over their assets and properties now after several decades.
He said curbs, detentions, trials and bans won't bring peace to Kashmir but would deepen the crisis of alienation and erode the base of participatory democracy in Jammu and Kashmir state. (KNS)
