Kunzer, Jan 18 (KNS): A case of attempted impersonation was reported at Examination Centre No. 321020 (Mohammadia High School, Kunzer) during the Class 12 Annual/Regular Private examination on Saturday. The centre authorities immediately filed an Unfair Means (UFM) report with the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
According to the Superintendent of the centre, an unidentified individual attempted to appear for the Political Science paper on behalf of a candidate bearing Roll No. 321020. The impersonator entered the examination hall pretending to be the registered candidate.
During routine verification, the individual failed to match the photograph and signature on the official records and was unable to produce valid identification.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOnce the impersonation was detected, he fled from the examination hall and subsequently left the school premises without revealing his identity.
The actual candidate did not appear for the examination and was not present at the centre at any point.
The incident was immediately reported to the Duty Magistrate deployed by the SDM Gulmarg, Sameer Ahmed (CT/J&K), who documented the matter.
Terming it a serious violation, the Superintendent has urged JKBOSE to take strict disciplinary action under the Board’s regulations to safeguard the sanctity and integrity of the examination system.
