Budgam, May 01 (KNS): A procession was carried out at Nowgam Sumbal to mark the birth anniversary of the 12th and the last Shia Imam, Imam Mahdi (AS). The ceremony was organized by Anjuman Shari Shian and it was attended by hundreds of people including students.
The procession was attended by Muhammad Hussain Mosvi, Hatim Ali Mir, Syed Arshid Mosvi, Aga Syed Ahmad Mosavi and Syed Muhammad Safvi.
The speakers highlighted the importance of Shab-e-Barat.
They also threw light on Imam Mehdi and said that he is the prophesied redeemer, who will bring peace and justice to the world.
He said the Imam Mehdi (A.S.) will raise the flag of justice and fair-play after his Zahoor with the Illahi desire, will gather the oppressed people around him, root out the oppressors and their rules and will place the real Islamic judicial system which will remove fear, harassment and will imbibe them with the blessings, peace and satisfaction.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
President Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi could not attend the procession due to house detention. The spokesperson while condemning his house arrest said that it is direct interference into religious affairs.
The spokesperson condemned the killings in Pulwama and said that sacrifices of people will not go waste. (KNS)
