Srinagar, Aug 21 (KNS): President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, while addressing a gathering at Markazi Imambara Budgam on the occasion of the Youm-e-Shahadat of Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS), paid homage to the eleventh Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and highlighted his enduring spiritual and intellectual legacy.
Aga Syed Hassan said that the life of Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS) teaches believers the values of faith, patience, knowledge, piety and steadfastness in the face of oppression. Despite severe restrictions imposed upon him by the ruling authorities of his time, the Imam continued to guide the people and safeguard the authentic teachings of Islam.
Referring to the Holy Quran, he said that divine guidance has remained a continuous tradition from Adam and Noah to the family of Abraham and the family of Imran, culminating with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and continuing through his purified Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

He urged the faithful, particularly the youth, to study the lives and teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and incorporate their principles of justice, morality, knowledge, compassion and social responsibility into their daily lives.
Aga Syed Hassan also called for unity, mutual respect and adherence to the authentic teachings of Islam, stressing that commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS) should inspire believers to stand firmly for truth, justice and righteousness.
He concluded by praying for peace, unity and the welfare of the Muslim Ummah and for the faithful to remain steadfast on the path of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Ahl al-Bayt (AS). (KNS)
