Srinagar, Aug 30 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party has appointed Iltija Mufti as media advisor to party president Mehbooba Mufti. 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), PDP spokesperson Suhail Bukhari said that Iltija was appointed media advisor to Mehbooba Mufti today. 

Notably, Iltija has been in charge of Mehbooba Mufti’s social media since 2019. 

She emerged as a leading voice and a vociferous critic of Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370 at a time when mainstream leaders were put behind bars. (KNS)
