Illegal Water Pipeline from Drang to Badgam Dismantled by Authorities, Locals

Tangmarg, May 1 (KNS): Residents of Drang in Tangmarg on Thursday strongly opposed the illegal installation of a water pipeline being laid from Drang to Badgam district.

The unauthorized activity triggered widespread resentment in the area, prompting immediate intervention by both the locals and the administration.

According to residents, individuals from the Badgam had begun laying a pipeline to draw water from Drang without seeking permission or consulting local stakeholders.

Drang, known for its freshwater resources and a key source for the local population, has long struggled with water supply issues, making the unauthorized diversion a matter of serious concern.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
