Srinagar, Mar 15 (KNS): Despite the high court ban on the illegal mining, residents in Kilam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday complained that illegal extraction in the area is going on unabated.
They said that the authorities have also implemented the ban over the illegal extraction but the sand mafia becomes active during late night hours.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that they have informed the concerned departments several times but nothing has been done so far to stop the menace in the area, locals alleged.
They have appealed the Lt. Governor led administration to intervene in the matter (KNS)
