Srinagar, Jun 29 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Ab Qayoom Wani showed serious concern over the illegal construction in Gulmarg.

In a statemwnt issued to KNS, Wani said that Supreme Court ruling is clear that their should be no concrete construction at world renowned tourist place of Gulmarg but due to political, bureaucratic influence and corrupt practices Gulmarg has become a concrete township and the natural beauty of Gulmarg has been damaged to the large extent which adversely effected the foreign and domestic tourist flow at Gulmarg.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He urged upon the Governor administration to put a high level enquiry to expose the hidden hands behind the destruction of Gulmarg.

PDP leader urged that there should be a blanket ban on illegal and concrete construction at Gulmarg and the culprits involved in helping illegal construction needs to be punished and booked at an earliest. (KNS)
