Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): IGP Traffic J&K, Jammu Alok Kumar-IPS today took review of traffic management on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. During the visit, IGP (T) J&K passed various directions not only to traffic officers/officials, but also to NHW road construction & maintenance authorities to make strenuous efforts to keep the movement of traffic smooth on this important road stretch.
IGP (T) J&K held a Darbar of Jawans of traffic Police City Srinagar & Rural Kashmir in the Auditorium of Director Information Office, Poloview Srinagar, in which he interacted with Officers/ Officials & listened to their grievances & assured speedy redressal of their grievances.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Besides this IGP (T) J&K stressed Upon the officers /officials to work with more enthusiasm in streamlining the traffic in Kashmir.
IGP (T) J&K reviewed traffic arrangements for the forthcoming visit of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India to J&K. IGP (T) J&K also interacted with the media personnel. (KNS)
