Srinagar Nov 4 (KNS): The railways security authorities have directed its men to maintain vigil on the Jammu-Katra track and neutralize any security threat along it during the coming festival season.
Chairing a meeting of top officers of railways, IGP Railways M. Sulaiman Salaria directed the officials that in view of the present security scenario, forth coming festivals, opening of Darbar Move offices at Jammu and scheduled VVIP visit to the State maintain safety and security of railway track, railway stations and running trains in the jurisdiction of GRP Katra and GRP Jammu.

“The Jammu-Katra Railway stations are vital installation and crowded with passengers, visitors, pilgrims and employees where the threat of sabotage by the ANEs/ASEs cannot be ruled out,” he said, adding that the threat needs to be neutralized timely by way of making fool proof security arrangements.
