Srinagar, July 03 (KNS): The Inspector General of Police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar has paid rich tributes to slain army soldier, who was killed in a gunfight in Pulwama on Friday.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that IGP Kumar and all ranks it Kashmir zone paid rich tributes to Havaldar Kashi Rao, who was killed in an encounter in Hanjin area of Pulwama yesterday. 

IGP while paying tributes to the slain soldier said that they stand by his family at this critical juncture.

Notably, fiver militants and a soldier were killed in an encounter that broke out in Hanjin area kf Pulwama on late Thursday night. (KNS)
