Srinagar, Mar 27 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar along with other senior police officials visited the residence of slain SPO to offer condolences with the family.
An official said that, IGP Kumar along with DIG central Kashmir and SSP Budgam visited the family of SPO today afternoon.
He said that the seniors officers visited the family to offer condolences and express sympathy with the bereaved family.
On Saturday evening, militants fired upon SPO and his brother at their residence in Chadbugh village of Budgam, injuring them critically.
However, SPO succumbed to his injuries last evening, while his brother was referred to Srinagar hospital in a critical condition, where he also succumbed to his injuries today morning. (KNS)
