Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): Inspector General of Police, Vidhi Kumar Birdi, on Monday greeted the Valley people as the holy Ramadan went underway in Jammu and Kashmir.
"IGP Kashmir extends warm greetings to the people of Kashmir Valley on the eve of Ramadan. May this sacred month bring blessings, unity, peace & prosperity to all. Ramadan Mubarak," the IGP said.
The month of Ramadan began in Jammu and Kashmir with the official announcement by the Grand Mufti, J&K, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam on Monday evening. (KNS)
