Kashmir is an exhibition of human rights violations: Untoo

Srinagar, Apr 21 (KNS): Dozens of activists of International Forum for justice and Human Rights JK (IFJHRJK) on Wednesday held protests here at Press Enclave against the prevailing human rights violations in Kashmir especially after the Handwara incident.
Holding placards in hands which read “Killing Kashmiri innocents have become daily routine Indian forces have lost all human values” Removing Bunker isn’t the alternate against killings at Handwara, “Kashmir has become the exhibition of human rights violations”.
Speaking to the media, Chairman IFJHRJK Muhammad Ahsan Untoo while condemning the human rights violations and police brutality demanded that the FIR should be withdrawn against Hilal Ahmed Banday and others who were part of the protests in Handwara.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Removal of Bunker at Handwara has cost us the lives of five people. The army personnel should be punished as per the law,” he said.
“Enquiry committees that are being constituted after such incidents are only to buy time and have always proved needless. We have seen how Shopian dual rape and murder and other such incidents were silently buried by the enquiry committees. We can never expect justice from Indian courts and its establishment,” he said.
He questions the International community for maintaining criminal silence over Kashmir which has been turned into an exhibition of human rights violations and killings. (KNS)
