Srinagar, May 26 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik Thursday condemned the police operation against whole resistance camp and has termed it as most undemocratic, uncivilized and unethical behaviour of ‘so-called’ rulers who in past have been propagating the ‘battle of ideas and freedom of expression’ and so on.
While terming spree of arrests, house arrests, restrictions, nocturnal raids and harassments as clear sign of frustration, Malik in a statement issued to KNS said that by putting all opponents behind bars and suppress their voices so-called Mufti regime has shown its real dictatorial face.
He said, “These oppressive measures cannot shake our confidence or deter us from perusing the path of truth and resistance and so-called rulers and their masters in Delhi and Nagpur must know that these undemocratic acts will yield them nothing but shame.”
Malik said that people of Jammu Kashmir through today’s peaceful protest strike has shown its anger against the proposed conspiratorial plots of rulers who by constructing separate Israeli type settlement colonies for Pandits, soldiers and homeless outsiders and also by implementing east India company type new industrial policy want to grab more and more Kashmiri land, change its demography and turn majority into minority.
While commending people of Kashmir for an exemplary protest strike today, JKLF chairman said that Kashmiris irrespective of their religious beliefs, cast, creed and color stand united against nefarious designs of Indian and its Kashmiri stooges and today’s protest strike is a good example of Kashmiri peoples will.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Malik said that people of Kashmir will remain steadfast against these evil designs and if rulers do not halt these conspiratorial designs immediately, this protest and resistance will only grow stronger. “To stop these evil designs from being implemented, if our blood is needed, we will not shy away from spilling that too because these issues are threatening our very existence and as a living nation we will do everything possible to safeguard our national (Mili) interests,” Malik said.
Meanwhile, Malik who was arrested by police day before is still languishing in police custody while as police and forces have started a crackdown against JKLF leaders and activists to prevent them from participating in today’s protest against construction of separate colonies for Pandits, army people, industrial policy and oppression against Jammu Muslims.
JKLF spokesman said that Police has arrested JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and district president Pulwama Javed Ahmad Butt from their respective homes in separate nocturnal raids and has raided the residences of JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal , Zonal vice president Muhammad Yasin Bhat and zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and harassed their families.
JKLF activist Mushtaq Ahmad Giloo from Soura has also been arrested by police last night.
It is worth to mention that today’s strike call and peaceful protests on Friday 27th may 2016 have given by leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani (chairman APHC G) , Mirwaiz Umer Farooq (chairman APHC M) and Muhammad Yasin Malik (chairman JKLF) jointly. (KNS)
