Srinagar, Apr 03 (KNS): All Jammu and Kashmir ICDS Supervisors Union held a meeting in which amalgam appealed Social Welfare minister Sajad Gani Lone for justice to them who are suffering from stagnation from years together.
They said the approach opted for elevation of supervisors as Incharge CDPOs is not based on rules as junior most ones are being given chance instead of seniors.
The union demanded amendment of gazetted rule 2009 in which supervisors should be given maximum quota to become CDPOs.
Other sections of social welfare like TSWOs, Social Workers are being given chance to get maximum elevations both in their own cadre as well as in ICDS.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
ACDPO posts shall be increased to 120 by upgradation of posts of supervisors through corresponding reduction to provide chance to supervisors in promotion.
TSWOS are being made DSWOS and CDPOs while as Supervisors are not even being given chance to their own wing.
The Union appealed Minister to intervene for proper reformation in the system so that justice will be delivered in their promotion and service. (KNS)
