Employees seek the release of salaries

Srinagar, May 10 (KNS): Anganwadi supervisors working under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) project in Langate today accused State Social Welfare Department (SWD) for failing to release their salaries from past 8 months.
Seeking release of pending salaries, they said they are working without salaries due to which they face immense problems.
An Anganwadi supervisor, Raja Amin of Langate told KNS they are working under ICDS project and the government has turned deaf ears to our demands, she said.
She said either government should release their salary or they will be compelled to come on roads and government will be responsible for that.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Raja Amin said that government has failed to fulfill its promises done with us. “We have been pressing for our demands from past several months leaving our families to face hardships,” she said.
“The government is not realising that some of us are widows who are the sole bread earners of their respective families. How will they manage without salary?” she questioned. (KNS)
