ICC Jammu pitches new industrial policy, international flights from Jammu Airport to Advisor Wani

 JAMMU, May 21 (KNS): The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Jammu Chapter, has submitted a comprehensive memorandum to Advisor to the Chief Minister, Jenab Nassir Aslam Wani, outlining a roadmap for the holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir.

 
The memorandum, handed over by ICC Jammu Chairman Rahul Sahai, flagged key issues and suggestions related to Industry, MSMEs, Tourism, IT, Education, Infrastructure, Exhibitions, Sports, and Social Welfare.
 
Among the major demands, the Chamber has sought a new Industrial Incentive Policy for local industries, swift rollout of the Logistics Policy, timely completion of key infrastructure projects, and 24-hour operations along with international flight connectivity from Jammu Airport.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
The memorandum also emphasised promotion of Jammu’s handicrafts and golf tourism, establishment of IT Parks, development of modern exhibition infrastructure, parking projects under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, planned housing colonies, and simplification of issues related to Gair Mumkin Khad land and lease renewals.
 
Reaffirming ICC Jammu’s commitment, Rahul Sahai assured the government of full support in driving economic growth, investment promotion, employment generation, and overall development of the Union Territory. (KNS)
