Terming the recent statement of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) delegates wherein they stated resolution of Kashmir dispute was inevitable to bring peace and stability in the region as an endorsement of Hurriyat Conference’s long held stand, the conglomerate today said that lingering Kashmir dispute was not only dangerous for India and Pakistan, but it has the potential to jeopardize the security and stability of entire South Asia.
In a statement to KNS Hurriyat (M) spokesman said, “The concerns of SAARC delegates regarding lingering Kashmir dispute were justified in all terms. The Indian leadership should accept the reality that without solving the Kashmir dispute, the situation in the region would remain tense and nobody could guarantee the safety and progress of millions of people inhabiting this part of the planet.”
Expressing serious concern over the rise in tension between India and Pakistan on borders, he said, “Such a situation was the result of unresolved Kashmir dispute.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said the relations between two countries have turned tense and worse instead of improving.”
The spokesman said that Indian should realize this reality that without solving Kashmir dispute, peace and stability would not arrive in South Asia. “As such, India should shun the policy of delaying and solve the Kashmir dispute in its proper historical and political context by starting meaningful dialogue with India and Pakistan,” he said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman sternly condemned the use of force against the ReT teachers by the government. He stated that instead of addressing the problems of ReT teachers, “the government was turning the situation for them difficult by using force and coercion against them.”
The spokesman said it was the duty of government to fulfil the legitimate demands of government employees, adding, it was also the duty of government employees to discharge their duties religiously.
