Srinagar, Jun 06 (KNS): Paying glowing tributes to the four armed youth killed in an encounter at Sumbal, Bandipora, Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman said that current political instability is the root cause of lingering Kashmir issue and until the basic issue is resolved as per the aspirations of people, incidents where human lives are lost will continue to happen.
In a statement issued to KNS, the Hurriyat (M) spokesman said the rigid and stubborn approach adopted by New Delhi vis-à-vis Kashmir issue is the main reason of tension in the region.
He said that the struggle of the people of Kashmir has strong moral, historical, political, legal and ethical foundations based on truthful facts and all efforts are being made to muzzle the genuine struggle on the basis of military might. Crushing the people’s sentiments through military power has become the official policy of New Delhi and its local collaborators in Kashmir.
Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman said that history is witness that no genuine struggle has been defeated through military might and those trying to do it in Kashmir are destined to taste the defeat.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Hurriyat (M) spokesman strongly condemned the government force’s raids in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district where in forces launched a massive crackdown during night. Stating that such activities were also witnessed in Islamabad district also, he said forces are intentionally making people of Kashmir targets on one or the other pretext.
Spokesman said that in Kashmir forces are day in and day out creating hardships for people, conducting nocturnal raids has become a routine in Kashmir under the garb of getting hold on stone pelters or search for militants.
He said all these acts are done to muzzle the genuine political struggle and to push the resistance leadership to wall, but the leadership and the people are committed to Kashmir cause till a resolution in accordance with the wishes and the aspirations of the people is found to the vexed Kashmir issue.
