Srinagar, Jul 07 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (M) has paid rich tributes to Shaheed Burhan Muzzafar Wani and his two associates and to those all martyred at the hands of government forces during the 2016 peoples’ agitation .
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (M) stated that the sacrifices of these martyrs are a part of our collective memory that can’t erased at any cost. It said due to sacrifices rendered by Burhan Wani and thousands of other martyrs today resolution Kashmir issue has become inevitable to forge peace in South Asia and Kashmiri nation since last seven decades has been bearing numerous atrocities that are becoming edifice for the genuine political demands of Kashmir nation not only on world level but the movement for right to self determination is progressive with each passing day.
The statement that the martyrdom a young girl student Andleeb (16) daughter of Ali Muhammad Alie along with two other civilians including Irshad Ahmad Lone (20) S/O Abdul Majeed Lone and Shakir Ahmad Khanday (22) S/O Muhammad Hussain Khanday who were victims of target killing by government forces in Kulgam that injured many more have been termed as part of state terrorism.
Hurriyat Conference (M) state terrorism has become a norm with killings and injuries of civilians becoming a daily norm that sends the message that Indian forces are orchestrating genocide in Kashmir.
The statement said that parts of Srinagar including many areas of South Kashmir like Tral and Kulgam Curfew and restrictions and youth were targeted though illegal detentions in police stations several other were detained for questioning creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation along with CASOs during which Kashmires are martyred and the other hand the NIA is targeting resistance leaders and activist incarcerating them in different jails.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Hurriyat (M) condemns the Kulgam killings while describing it as shocking, adding, these incidents unveil the Indian state’s nefarious designs against Kashmiries that are aimed at breaking the resolve of resistance leadership and people of Kashmir and state wants to peace of graveyard.
The statement said that the continuous aggressive policy of Indian state against Kashmiris is aimed at putting the resolution of Kashmir issue in cold storage that is resulting in the continuous loss of lives and properties, adding, unless and until the issue is not resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of people of Kashmir the violence and uncertainty will prevail.
Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman has condemned the continuous house confinement of amalgam Chairman MIrwaiz Umar Farooq, besides Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mukhar Ahmad Waza, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War and dozens of other Hurriyat leaders and activists. (KNS)
