Says youth sacrificing their lives for sacred cause

Srinagar, Apr 07 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (M) on Saturday paid tributes to Musavir Hassan Wani, son of Ghulam Hassan Wani, a resident of Dalipora, Pulwama who was killed in an encounter with government forces at Kangan, Pulwama on Friday.
The spokesman in a statement issued to KNS said that Kashmiri youth are sacrificing their lives for a great and sacred cause.
He said that New Delhi's iron fist and repressive policy is the main reason for the youth to opt armed struggle as a means of resistance.
Hurriyat (M) said that the way forces are unleashing a reign of terror across Kashmir by killing, maiming and injuring youth, it seems that Delhi doesn’t want to resolve Kashmir but to prolong its resolution by using its military might on the peace loving people of Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He strongly condemned use of brute force on peaceful protesters at Dalipora, Pulwama and arrest of dozens of people at Palhallan, Pattan, stating that the government through its forces are leaving no stone unturned by adopting all the undemocratic means to break the resolve of people, which is highly condemnable.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat spokesman strongly denounced the government’s decision of continuously ‘caging’ amalgam chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at his residence once again thereby disallowing him from carrying out his social, religious and political duties.
The spokesman said the move is not just political vendetta but a plan to keep Mirwaiz away from people to create a distance between him and the masses. (KNS)
