Srinagar, Sep 11 (KNS): Expressing deep resentment and worry over the large-scale killings in Kashmir, increasing human rights violations and murderous assaults by trigger-happy government forces carrying out the genocide of Kashmiris, Hurriyat (M) spokesman Sunday said they were playing with the patience of Kashmiris as rights violations had already surpassed all limits of endurance.
Strongly condemning the murder of yet another Kashmiri youth, Javed Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar, who was critically injured after being hit by a bullet by government forces on August 5 and succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura on Sunday, the Hurriyat (M) spokesman in a statement issued to KNS said the killings of civilians in the ongoing uprising has now crossed 80.
Paying glowing tributes to the martyred youth Javed Ahmad Dar, the spokesman expressed sympathy and solidarity with the parents of Javed and his entire family and said these sacrifices were the assets and of the ongoing peaceful resistance movement for the right to self determination, which would not be allowed to go waste and Will achieve its objective.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The spokesman said that The large presence of people in protest demonstrations and marches continued in every district of Kashmir and Chenab valley, despite curfew, restrictions and curbs, and braving indiscriminate firing of pellets, tear smoke shells, PAVA shells pepper and stun grenades of the government forces shows people's determination and resolve towards achieving their right to freedom even in the face of such repression.
Terming the slapping of the infamous Public Safety Act (PSA) on 200 youth among the 1500 youth arrested recently as vengeful, the spokesman said it would not deter people from striving for their Goal
Stressing that whatever be the situation now and whatever tactics of oppression and suppression the government may adopt n people of Kashmir in general and the youth in particular Have decided not to rest until achieving their right to self determination for which they are prepared to offer any sacrifice.
