Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (M) strongly denounced the government’s decision of yet again caging the chairman of the amalgam Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at his Nigeen residence, terming the move as autocratic which reflects the paranoid mindset of the ruling class.
In a statement issued to KNS, Spokesman said that confining Mirwaiz to his house every alternate day is part of a well-planned conspiracy to restrict his movement and to create a gap between people and him.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Hurriyat (M) spokesman said that frequent house confinement of Mirwaiz has not only affected his social and political engagements but religious duties as well.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz thanked Almighty Allah for the successful liver transplant surgery of Hurriyat’s executive council member and president of the Itehad-ul-Muslimeen Moulana Masroor Abbas Ansari in Delhi. He prayed for his full and speedy recovery. (KNS)
