Srinagar, Mar 07 (KNS): Condemning the excessive use of force on unarmed civilians, cane charge, tear gas shelling at Pinjoora Shopian resulting in injuries to scores of people, Hurriyat Conference (M) Tuesday said unleashing such arbitrary actions on innocent and unarmed civilians was undemocratic and cruel.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (M) said by cordoning entire area and ransacking residential houses, the government forces had created a reign of terror, forcing the people to migrate from the area.
Denouncing this action of government forces as highly deplorable, the statement said this exhibited the face of state terrorism.
Hurriyat (M) also condemned the use of brutal force and cane charge on the employees of the NHM by police and said the protest of these employees for their just demands exposed the pro-people and pro-democratic claims of the ruling class and unmasked their cruel anti-people face.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, the Hurriyat (M) spokesman has condoled the sad demise of Haji Ghulam Muhammad Lone of Lone Harai Kupwara, the father-in-law of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Vice Chairman, Master Sheikh Muhammad Afzal.
The statement said the Hurriyat (M) leaders paid glowing tributes to the deceased for his contribution towards the movement. They prayed for his eternal peace and forbearance to the bereaved family. (KNS)
