Srinagar, Jul 10 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (M) has strongly condemned the killing of two innocent youth in government forces action that include Obaid Manzoor of Nadihal Rafiabad and Tamsheel Ahmed Khan of Hayil Shopian and two armed youth martyred in an encounter at Shopian where forces showered dozens of live bullets and pellets leaving over 50 civilians seriously injured.
The Hurriyat in a statement issued to KNS said that under a well-planned conspiracy, the lacs of forces in absence of any accountability have decided to go for a full fledged war against people of Kashmir and the process has been started with the genocide of youth including minor girls and boys.
The Hurriyat said that the ultimate repression is being unleashed on the innocent people of Kashmir with a sole aim of breaking their resolve towards the freedom movement.
The statement said that because of the ultimate fear and terror unleashed by the government forces, Muhammad Ishaq Naikoo, the father of an armed youth, a resident of Kandlun, Shopian died of heart attack soon after come to know that his militant son is in a siege.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It said the gravity of the situation can be gauged from the fact this very incident as it is quite clear now that the entire Kashmir has been left the mercy of forces to push the people, especially youth to the wall.
Paying tributes to slain Obaid and Tamsheel, the Hurriyat said that people of Kashmir are associated with a great and sacred cause and that the repressive measures can’t cow-down neither people nor the resistance leadership into a submission.
The Hurriyat also castigated the authorities for placing resistance leadership under frequent house detention and lodging many others under preventive custody, launching search and cordon operations in southern districts of Kashmir, harassing and arresting youth, stating that these ploys can never yield any result as people of Kashmir have time and again proved that no power or repression can break their commitment towards the just struggle of right to self-determination.
