Mirwaiz asks people to follow joint resistance leadership programs in letter and spirit

Srinagar, Aug 29 (KNS): Hurriyat (M) spokesman today asked the Government to come clean as to why its chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been detained and lodged in sub jail Cheshma Shahi at this point of time.
In a statement issued to KNS, Spokesman said if according to the Government he is a " threat to law and order" he has been so for the last 49 days when he was put under house arrest and no one was allowed to meet him and most of his communication facilities snapped or as he is frequently put under house arrest especially on Fridays to prevent him from going to Jamia mosque.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Spokesman said people want to know from the government as to why the Mirwaiz has been detained at this time. They have apprehensions because anything can be expected from the desperate ruling regime to bring back so called "peace and normalcy" in the valley, crush the people's revolt and keep them subjugated.
The spokesman said that Mirwaiz has asked the people to follow the joint resistance leadership programs in letter and spirit and be vigilant of agents and of rumor mongers. (KNS)
