Srinagar, Feb 05 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (G) while thanking Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Kashmiri people across the world said, that observing the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ on February 5, is encouraging and praiseworthy.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) said, we are thankful to every section of Pakistan that they raise their voice against human rights violations & organize demonstrations on this day.
Hurriyat (G) said people of state are pursuing a sacred mission for right to self-determination. It is the moral duty of all people living across the world to come to their rescue and help us through all possible means.
The role Pakistanis and Kashmiris across the globe play on this day is laudable. & Pakistan from day first supported people of state in their struggle against forced occupation. Hurriyat (G) said that observing the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ is a step to highlight the miserable situations in occupied Kashmir at all international forums.
Pakistan is a sovereign and autonomous state and hence it’s all embassies need to be reorganized with the historical facts about Kashmir issue and the atrocities inflicted by Indian forces. Hurriyat (G) said that these embassies should clear that Kashmir issue has nothing to do with extremism and people are striving for their right to self-determination.
Hurriyat (G) in its appeal to rulers in Pakistan said they should demonstrate steadfastness & persistence and never budge before the pressure diplomacies of India. We hope it will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to our just and genuine cause, said Hurriyat (G). (KNS)
