Srinagar, Nov 14 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF) unit of Hurriyat conference (G) tour of Distt Dodo and Kistwar. While addressing the gathering at Kistwar Hurriyat Sikh Leader and Chairman JKSPF Advocate Devinder Singh strongly condemned the killing of people in Kashmir. Singh said Government of India should immediate stop human right violation in valley.
In a statement issued to KNS, Sikh Leader said Govt also harassed and torched people in Chenab valley .For last one year Govt harassed the people of DODA, Kistwar, Ramban, Rajouri and Poonach distt because peoples of these area stand with their Kashmiri brothers and for last three months people of these distt protests peaceful but very unfortunately they are book in PSA and other Laws. Sikh Leader also give message of its Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani to people. Geelani in his message said in this crucial time we are stand with our brothers of Jammu province. As everybody of world knows security forces in Kashmir valley killing innocent people and thousand of youths were injured and at least 500 youths had lost their eyes.
Geelani also said we people will achieve our goal very soon. Sikh Leader said that the Kashmir dispute be settled through right of self determination. He said Human Rights organizations adopted silent policy on Kashmir where every day human rights are violated in different ways.
Hurriyat Leader criticized the functioning of Human Rights Commission in Jk which latterly found to give relief to the victims. Singh said that what kind of incident has been taken so far about the thousands of missing persons in JK. What kind of steps Human Rights Commission has taken about the deteriorating condition of political persons in jails. He asked whether Human Rights Commission has even booked any human rights violator till date.
Hurriyat Sikh Leader appeals both the nation sit together and start the dialogue process under UN resolution. He also appeals UN General Secretary to personally intervene and appoint an envoy to see the ground realties in Jammu Kashmir in resent scenario. Singh said Kashmir is a human related and is still pending for the last 65 years and both the countries has faced three wars in which we have lost precious life’s .To avoid further delay tactics start the negotiation to resolve the Jk issue once for all because both the countries has nuclear weapons which causes distraction both the nation.
