Srinagar, Feb 25 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Insaf Party, Muslim Conference and Employees Movement leaders G A Gulzar, Haji G N Sumji and M Shafi Lone in a joint statement expressed their deep concern over the issuance of repeatedly warning statements of higher Indian Army officials to the most gentle and peace loving people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, all the three Hurriyat (G) leaders reminded that the people of Kashmir love and respect human values and freedom like all humans across the globe.
“Here people are hoodwinked in the garb of Sadak, Bijli, Pani, Jamhoriat and Insaniyat but in actual practice they are the worst sufferers of undeclared martial law,” they said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The leaders clarified, “The presence of round about 700 thousand Indian armed forces has turned every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir into a worst battle field and the people face their tough times and human rights violations at the hands of men in uniform.”
They appealed the UNO and other World bodies to help in resolving the long pending dispute on priority and take cognizance of the Indian denial of Right to Self Determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
