Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNS): A Hurriyat (G) delegation sent by Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani held a detailed meeting for one and a half hours with Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit in New Delhi in which they held a detailed discussed over the recent meeting of Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan rulers on the occasion of Asia Hart Conference in Islamabad and also discussed the Kashmir policy there.
According to the Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar, the personal secretary to chairman Peer Saifullah and Chief Organizer APHC Altaf Ahmad Shah held a detailed meeting with the Pakistani High Commissioner, Deputy High Commissioner and the other officials in New Delhi on Monday.
The Hurriyat delegation handed them a message of Syed Ali Geelani that Pakistan should continue to maintain consistency and firmness over its Kashmir policy and play an active role in highlighting the human rights violations committed by Indian forces in Jammu & Kashmir on the international forums.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The delegation also apprised the Pakistan High Commissioner about the present situation in Kashmir.
Meanwhile the Hurriyat delegation also visited the AIMS hospital in New Delhi where they met the senior journalist and editor in chief of the English daily Raising Kashmir Shujaat Bukhari who is being treated there and extended good wishes of Syed Ali Geelani to him and they also prayed for his speedy and early recovery.
