Srinagar, Dec 04 (KNS): Sharply reacting and condemning the cold blooded murder of Asadullah Kumar, Hurriyat Conference (G) said that those calming the credit of ‘’normalcy’’ should introspect themselves as they are solely responsible for the innocent killings on daily basis. They in no way can escape the heinous and monstrous charges of bloodshed, if not here surely hereafter.
Hurriyat Conference (G) said as per media reports the deceased was on his duty and was not participating in any protest or there was no armed scuffle in the vicinity. This is a well nit plan of traitors and merciless extra judicial killers, avenging the common people for their pro-freedom sentiments.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) said that beating the drum of “peace and development” by these shameless killers is nothing but a deceptive slogan to regain their lost ground. Hurriyat said that using the barrel of gun for suppressing the voice of freedom and then clamming “normalcy” is hilarious and misleading. They said that our nation is brutalised and maimed for the last seven decades and we wholeheartedly aspire and yearn for peace and if suffocating and throttling the pro-freedom voices cultivates peace, then slaughtering lakhs of people and hundreds of graveyards would have ensured it much before but such muzzling measures fail to calm down the flames of freedom. Hurriyat (G) reiterated it once again that present uprising for the last five months has infused a new zest in the long struggle for freedom on one hand, and snatched and torn apart the delude image of the puppets of repression on the other hand.
Hurriyat said that Indian & Pakistan, the nuclear equipped neighbouring countries, are always at the verge of collision because of the hatred and mistrust due to non-resolution of the volcanic Kashmir issue, the flames of which have engulfed lakhs of people so for. They said that India’s denial is the primary reason for this long standing conflict and sooner this basic issue is addressed, better it is for the wellbeing of the people of this sub-continent, otherwise beating the drum of “Indo-Pak friendship” by these local faces of this occupation can ensure them power again, but common people will be still wondering for peace and will continue to get brutalized to feed these political vultures, whether they are uniformed men on borders or civilian in towns and villages.
Hurriyat Conference (G) said that imitating and mimicking the “peace” can never fetch it, unless and until bold, courageous and realistic steps are undertaken to prove the sincerity of such desire. (KNS)
