Hurriyat (G) condemns civilian killing in Nadihal

‘These human sacrifices are sacred, priceless’

Srinagar, Sep 24 (KNS): Hurriyat (G) on Saturday strongly condemned the killing of a Baramulla youth, Wasim Ahmad Lone by Indian armed forces in Nadihal.
Paying rich tributes to all martyrs including Waseem Ahmad, Hurriyat (G0 in a statement issued to KNS said that these human sacrifices are sacred and priceless. “As per media reports from locals there was no protest, no stone pelting, demonstration or public meeting. This young boy was working in the paddy fields, but armed forces without any provocation killed him,” Hurriyat (G) said.
Hurriyat (G) said that one fails to understand which “democratic clause” authorizes these trigger hungry killers to act in such a barbaric way.
They said that thousands of youth are being put behind bars, under the draconian and notorious Public Safety Act, and most of them being shifted to outside valley. “A good number of people mostly youth are subjected to the worst kind of humiliation and torture after arresting and crippling them for rest of their lives,” they said.
They said that young kids being blinded for ever indicating that fascist forces are hell bent upon targeting the young folk in a well planned and institutionalized way, as every oppressor and forceful occupier does.
Hurriyat (G) said that previously Indian forces used the excuse of armed people for their killings, but for the last few years they even target the peaceful demonstrations and public meetings to wipe away the younger generation.
They said that “Indian ultranationalist attitude paint the freedom struggle as “cross border infiltration” to legalize and justify the horrifying, and atrocious handling by their armed forces, to gratify their vote bank and as long as Kashmir are hit hard, the power athirst forces are guaranteed their stay in power.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
“To accomplish these niggling ambitions, their hyperactive and biased media houses add fuel to the fire, as they label and portray every Kashmiri as terrorist and subject them to the hilarious and boisterous media trail, sentencing them to the worst kind of punishment even before their court trial starts,” Hurriyat (G) added.
Commenting on widespread arrest spree throughout the valley, Hurriyat (G) said that arrests, pressure tactics, coerce means, killings, ransacking and rummage may lend the administration applause and clapping from their mentors in Delhi. “But they deserve nothing but curse, cuss and a bad name from their besieged and oppressed people,” they said.
Commenting on not allowing Friday prayers in Jamia Masjid and other district main Jamia mosques, Hurriyat (G) said that this is the worst and autocratic attitude of interfering in the religious obligations of the people.
“Indian patriots, secularists and those claiming to uphold the Kashmiryat and hospitality, need to introspect themselves, as to why they can’t dare to come on TV screens to deliver the sermons on these “glorifying actions of their Kashmiriyat,” they said.
Referring to the India’s recent arms deal with France, Hurriyat said that among both people and rulers of India, war hysteria runs very high and some even suggest retaliatory aggression with deep strike inside Pakistan.
Hurriyat (G) said that leading the arms race from the front, India suffers from the euphoria of expansionism to fulfill its long cherished ambition of “Akhand Bharat”, but it will never succeed in its mischievous ambitions. (KNS)
