Srinagar, Jan 19 (KNS): Hurriyat (G) has called executive meeting of its constituent members on January 22.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar said, that after a long spell of six months all constituent members will discuss prevailing situation in State.
Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani will preside its meeting and its general secretary Shabir Ahmad Shah and all other members are expected to attend proposed meeting, said spokesman.
In a statement, spokesman said that police administration has restricted all social and political activities of Syed Ali Geelani and virtually turned his residence into a jail.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelSyed Ali Geelani is not in a position to venture out of his residence and as such has called executive meeting at Hyderpora.
Spokesman said that that Hurriyat general secretary Shabir Ahmad Shah, last week convened the executive meeting at his Sanat Nagar residence; however some important issues are to be discussed in presence of its chairman, Syed Ali Geelani. We have informed all executive members and served notices, said Ayaz Akbar and they have been asked to comply and directed to attend said meeting positively. (KNS)
