Hurriyat (G)) demands immediate release of 10-year-old Ismail

Appeals AI, UNICEF for taking notice

Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): While terming the continuous detention of 10 year old Nowhatta child Mohammad Ismail Khan and registration of FIRs against him as the worst face of the tyrannical rule the world have ever seen, Hurriyat Conference (G) demanded his immediate release.
Hurriyat (G) appealed the Amnesty International, international child right organization UNICEF and the other human rights organizations to take strong notice of the detention of minor child and use their influence for his immediate release.
In a statement to KNS, Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar said that such an example of filing of FIR against the 10 year old child is extremely hard to find anywhere in the world. It happens only in Kashmir where the state institutions itself abuse the state constitution and the law.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The civil administration in the state is just for the name and all the powers and authority lies in the hands of police and Indian army.
Whenever they wish, they will kill anybody and can imprison anyone and they don’t need any reason for that. No armed personal is answerable before anybody and nor does the civil administration has powers to restrict their will.
Hurriyat (G) spokesman said that whoever is ruling Jammu & Kashmir be it NC, PDP or the governor rule, the situation remains unchangeable. There is no letup in the state terrorism in Kashmir. Jammu & Kashmir is actually directly ruled by the Indian home ministry with the help of the presence of huge occupational forces in the region. (KNS)
