Ganderbal 31 May (KNS): Security forces in a joint operation recovered a huge Consignment of arms and ammunition in Ganderbal Forests.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service, Upon reliable information from own source about the presence of some suspicious objects in a forest, Ganderbbal Police along with joint teams of  PC Ganderbal, 24 RR and 115 Bn CRPF launched a CASO in the forest area of Shajinar Gutlibagh.During searches  in the  thick woods  below ammunition was found lodged in a cavity beneath a rock and was recovered on the spot. AK Magzine 11 Nos, AK Live Ammunition 597 Rounds,  Pistol Magzine 01 No, Pistol Ammunition 06 Rounds and UBGL Rounds 12 Nos.

Following this,  case FIR no. 91 of 2021 U/S 7/25 / IA Act has been registered in PS Ganderbal and investigation taken up.(KNS)
