Kupwara, Aug 18 (KNS): Army on Friday said it has recovered huge cache of arms, ammunition and other incriminating material in a joint operation that was launched in Machhal sector of Kupwara from August 15-18 on the basis of credible inputs.
Army's Srinagar based strategical unit 15 Corps in its official handle tweeted, "Joint Operation launched by Indian Army, BSF and J&K Police in #Machhal Sector Kupwara from 15-18 August based on Intelligence inputs by various agencies of likely presence of a cache of war like stores. Huge cache of arms and ammunition to include 05xAK Rifles, 07xPistols, 04xHand Grenades and other incriminating material have been recovered".
It added that search operation is in progress.(KNS)
