HSS Ashopora Shines in Class 12 Results, Parents Unhappy with Poor Show by HSS Qalamabad

Handwara, April 30 (KNS): Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Ashopora in Qaziabad has emerged as a top performer in the recently declared Class 12th results, with 11 students securing distinctions and an impressive 85% overall pass percentage. The school's consistent academic performance has drawn widespread praise from parents and the local community.

“We are proud of our children and grateful to the teachers at Ashopora,” said a local resident. “Their dedication and hard work are clearly reflected in these results. It’s a model school for the area.”

Another parent added, “The teachers at Ashopora go beyond classroom hours to ensure every student is prepared. This kind of commitment is rare.”

In contrast, Government Higher Secondary School Qalamabad has raised concerns with its disappointing pass percentage of just 38%. The remaining 62% of students either failed or are placed in the reappear category.

Parents from the area have expressed deep dissatisfaction, criticizing the teaching staff for inadequate academic engagement.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Teachers at Qalamabad are not spending quality time with students. This is directly affecting the results,” said a concerned parent.

Another furious parent remarked, “It feels like the school is just going through the motions. There’s no real effort from the staff to uplift the students.”

“Year after year, the results from Qalamabad are disappointing. Either the teachers are not capable or they are not interested in teaching. We demand accountability,” said a local shopkeeper whose daughter failed.

Many parents are calling for immediate action. "Those who have failed to deliver should be held accountable," another parent added.

Locals are urging education authorities to intervene and take corrective measures to address the issues at Qalamabad, emphasizing that students’ futures are at stake. (KNS)
