Srinagar,31 May (KNS): Higher Secondary school Gund Hassi Bhat today organised an online awareness programme on the theme  "COMMIT TO QUIT" in which all the staff members of the institution participated along with a good number of students.

The chief guest was Director School Education Kashmir Dr Tassaduq Hussain Mir and the other guests were Joint Director school education Kashmir Shams ud din, Chief education officer Srinagar, Manzoor Ahmad Kumar, and  Dr Nazir Mushtaq Senior consultant, who share their expert views with us.

 Further, Dr Suraiya Ameen Basu, Vice Principal of the institution presented the keynote and gave the historical background of said day.

Dr Dilshada Tabassum, Dr Sheezan Rasool and Dr Jahangir khan also gave speeches on the worst impact of tobacco on the human respiratory system, Tabacco as the killer and Tabacco & its effects on youth respectively.

Lastly, I presented the vote of thanks to all the esteemed guests, Lecturer's and students who took part in the webinar and I also thank Doordarshan Kendra and All India Radio Kashmir who coverage this whole programme. (KNS)
