Srinagar, Oct 02 (KNS): BJP general secretary, Sunil Sharma on Saturday hit out at Mehbooba Mufti over her remarks about Taliban, stating that how can a woman support Taliban where there are no rights for them.

Attending a press conference, Sharma said that that how can a woman support the Taliban where there are no rights for them and India is a democratic country and there are rights for every women regarding their liberty and freedom.

Criticising Mehboobe Mufti’s remarks, he said that no such statement will be tolerated in India, which will exhibit anti-nationalist character.

He said that the BJP has cleared it’s stance against the Taliban and there is no duplicity about the stand of the BJP.

Replying to a question, he said that People of Kashmir have understood the family politics of the two families of J&K.

“Thousands of youth have been killed due to family politics in J&K and now people are coming forward to support the BJP,” he asserted.

While referring to others as two political families of J&K, said that a war has commenced between the BJP supporters vs others.

“The two major political parties are trying to confuse the masses in the name of PAGD and Gupkar Declaration,” he said.

Sharma said that PAGD stands no where now and the two political families of J&K are only fighting for their recognition now.

“The people of J&K have always been misled by them in the name of autonomy and self-rule,” he added. (KNS)
