Kulgam, June 03 (KNS): BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina on Tuesday said we are ready for polls and are hopeful that Election Commission of India will announce poll schedule soon for J&K.
"BJP is ready for assembly elections in J&K. We want ECI to announce election schedule soon for J&K," BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina as per KNS said during a public outreach program in south Kashmir's Kulgam.
He said people of J&K have pinned their hope on BJP due to people-friendly and poor-friendly politics of PM Narendra Modi. "During the last 9 years the PM Modi led government took multiple people-friendly initiatives which includes housing for poor, free health cards, farmer friendly measures, establishment of sports stadiums, educational institutions, colleges & universities and augmentation of health sector," Raina said.
He said the people of J&K have pinned their hope on BJP and have associated themselves massively with the party. "Not only in Jammu province, people from city, villages and towns of Kashmir valley have linked themselves to BJP as they believe in the sincere and honest politics of PM Narendra Modi's," he said.
He reiterated that BJP is ready for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and wished the ECI will announce poll schedule soon for the UT. (KNS)
