Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNS): Strongly condemning the banning of Muharram processions in the valley, senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan today said that on one hand Hindu fascists are holding open rallies in Jammu under government cover and on the other Muslims are barred from their religious obligations. “The Hindu fascists, like RSS have been given a free hand to hold rallies in Jammu region only to terrorize Muslims,” Khan said adding “the authorities are hand in glove with anti-Muslim forces in Jammu Kashmir.” Appealing people to maintain brotherhood and defeat the anti-Muslim elements, Khan said that vested interests are trying everything to create wedge in the name of Shia-Sunni however, he hoped the people of Kashmir will like always defeat such elements by holding the torch of togetherness.
According to a statement issued to KNS, stressing upon people to firmly hold the torch of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) whose great sacrifice will work as a torch in all sorts of oppression and suppression, Khan said that Hazrat Imam Hussian (AS) did not surrender his principles instead he (AS) and his great companions fought the Yazidi ideology and set practical example for all the believers as how to counter the tyranny and repression of Yazidiat.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“What is going on in disputed Jammu Kashmir since decades together at the hands of India and its local collaborators is a glaring example of Yazidiat,” Khan said adding “I appeal people to shook hands and pledge to fight Yazidiat despite all odds.” He also appealed people not to indulge in baseless differences and keep the torch of togetherness lighting. “It is the primary obligation of majority people of Kashmir to fight the oppressors the same way as Hussan (AS) did at Karbala.” (KNS)
