Moreover forces have started ransacking various places throughout the valley and during last few days devastated a number of houses and vehicles in villages like Kareemabad Pulwama, Ashajipora Islamabad, Langate, Bandipora, Dangerpora Chadoora, Firdousabad Batamaloo, Parniva & Kremshore Budgam, Nadigam Shopian and fired upon peaceful protestors and injured dozens of people among which Mehraj-ud-din Ganaie of Parniva Budgam got critically injured.
Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir (JeI) sincerely advises government of India to keenly understand the voice of Kashmiris and not to give deaf ear to them. The on-going peaceful movement has been started by people themselves only to achieve their cherished right of self-determination and to blame any group or individual for provocation is quite senseless. It is in the best interest of the entire South Asian region to resolve the Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of the concerned people once for all regarding which either UNO resolutions be implemented or tripartite negotiations between India, Pakistan and people of Kashmir as the basic party be initiated to find out a durable and just solution. This human issue can be easily resolved if government of India demonstrates realistic approach and sincerity towards the pledges made by it to the people of entire Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
