Srinagar, Jan 12 (KNS): Hizbul Mujahideen has paid rich tributes to Sajad Ahmad alias Peer Sahab who was killed in a shootout by police and army in Zakura in Srinagar outskirts on Monday evening.
In an emailed statement to KNS, HM spokesman Saleem Hashmi while quoting the militant group’s deputy chief Saif-u-llah Khalid said that Sajad’s “martyrdom is a huge loss”.
“Sajad was associated with Hizbul Mujahideen who spent his life by following Islam and devise strategies to defeat the designs of the enemy for Kashmir’s freedom.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelA great follower of Islam and Mujahid has been separated from us,” Khalid said in his speech during a Hizb Command Council meet.
“His and other martyrs’ sacrifices for the struggle of Kashmir would not got in vain,” he said, while praying for the peace of the departed soul and his family. (KNS)
