Srinagar, Jan 19 (KNS): Stating that they don’t take donations from the people, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Thursday said that “those who are taking donations on our name are Indian agents.”
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying, “The Indian agents have made fake letter pads of Hizb and are pressurizing the people for donation. The proof of such happening is the letter sent to a resident of Baghat Kani pora namely Muhammad Amin Bhat in which Indian agents have threatened him to donate Rs 5 lakh otherwise he and his family will be killed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
He said, “We don’t ask for any donations. We have also directed the militants not to ask for any donation. Those who are asking for donation on our name are Indian agents.”
Hizb chief asked people to identify those who are involved in such kind of things and present them before militants.
Meanwhile, Salah-ud-din said that Aarizoo Bashir, a resident of Mandarwara Tral who has been arrested by police has no links with Hizb. “Aarizoo is neither affiliated with Hizb nor with any militant outfit,” he said. (KNS)
