Srinagar, Aug 17 (KNS): Hizbul Mujahideen Wednesday claimed responsibility for the attack on an army convoy in Baramulla that took place today morning.
Two army personnel and a policeman were killed when militants ambushed an Army convoy on the Srinagar–Baramulla highway between 2:30 AM and 3 AM. The militants managed to escape after the attack, army said.
Hizb operational spokesman Burhan-u-din told KNS over phone that the militants associated with the outfit carried out the attack on the army at Khujabagh, Baramulla.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that several army men were killed and others were injured in the attack. “We will reward the militants for attacking the army and killing their personnel,” he said.
He said that Hizb’s deputy supreme commander, Saifullah Khalid, will reward the militants who carried out the attack. (KNS)
