Muthaida Majlis Ulema in its statement has lambasted the Hindutva fanatic forces like VHP and its communal leaders for threatening economic blockade of Kashmir and made it clear that under the garb of recent court order on beef ban these fanatic groups and leaders are showing their true colors and are openly advocating t anti-Muslim and anti-Kashmir policies. In a statement to KNS, MMU has also ridiculed the statement of BJP leader Nirmal Singh and Ravendra Raina for justifying the beef ban and advocating punishment for violaters of the court order. MMU has categorically stated that is no room for any anti-Muslim law in the muslim majority Jammu & Kashmir, adding, any such court or administrative orders being implemented on the behest of communal forces of India would be met with fierce resistance.
Keeping in view the current situation and open threats by these Communal and fanatic forces, Muthaida Majlis Ulema Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has constituted a 11 member core committee of religious and legal personalities which includes Maulana Rahmatullah Qasmi, Advocate Zahid Ali, Advocate Main Qayoom,Maulana Showkat Hussain Keng,Mufti Mohammad Yaqoob Madni, Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami, Mufti Abdul Rashid Miftahi,Dr.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelYousuf ul Umar and Abul Rahman Bhat to devise an effective mechanism to deal with the current situation.
The statement also observed that a visionary policy framework would be ushered and implement so that in future any interference in religious matters of Kashmiri Muslims by communal and fanatic forces is effectively dealt at every stage. (KNS)
