Srinagar, Sep 22 (KNS): State Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Mahila Morcha, Dr Hina Shafi Bhat Thursday condemned ‘Pakistan sponsored terror strike’ in Uri aimed at creating more disturbances in the state.
In a statement issued to KNS, she said that “Pakistan has become a pariah of International politics and all world leaders have asked Pakistan to shun her path of using terrorists for political ends.”
She said, “The most unfortunate part of the issue is that some agents of Pakistan who dance to the tunes of ISI thus issuing and enforcing shutdown calendars have brought huge miseries to common people.”
Dr Hina Bhat said that people in Kashmir are facing “Pakistan-Hurriyat onslaught and shutdown calendars designed as per the whims and fancies of street urchins have created havoc in the society. Precious human lives have been lost and properties worth crores have got damaged.”
“With Education system derailed and businesses being shut these Hurriyat sponsored Gondas have damaged thousands of private vehicles on roads of valley,” she added.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
She said that “Gondaism has a shelf life and people cannot be held at ransom for long. Those serving Pakistani interests in Kashmir will be held accountable by Kashmiri people in times to come for inflicting heavy losses to the society. In order to ensure that Kashmiris suffer economic doom, these shut down calendars are always issued in peak working season in summer.”
Dr Hina said that people need to realize that these elements are enemies of people and time has come to ignore these calendars.
She further appealed people to resist this onslaught of fear and terror and get back to their business.
Dr Hina hailed the courage and resilience of people in these difficult times for making efforts to earn their livelihood and live normal life. (KNS)
