Jammu, Jan 10 (KNS): Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, Vice Chairperson J&K Khadi and Villages Industries Board (KVIB) today chaired a meeting of female employees of J&K KVIB, Jammu. 

The meeting was attended by Masroor Ahmad Shah Dy.CEO (Adm) / OSD to Vice Chairperson, Tilak Raj, Divisional officer (JD) and female employees of Jammu Division.      

During the meeting, female employees raised some issues before Hon’ble Vice-Chairperson who gave patient hearing to every employee and assured that their genuine demands will be disposed under rules and advised them to work with zeal and enthusiasm without any fear.

Notably, The meeting was conducted for emphasizing upon the fact that For the first time, on the directions of Hon’ble Vice-Chairperson, a Local Complaint Committee / Grievance committee has been constituted at UT level under Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace (prevention, prohibition and redressal) Act, 2013 to redress the grievances of the female employees within 24 hours of receipt of complaint positively.
